    This paper will focus on the high profile case of the Canadian government’s attempt to remediate arsenic contamination at the former Giant Mine in the Northwest Territories.   Tissue samples from four ungulate species from the south Mackenzie Mountain region of the Northwest Territories (NT), Canada, were analysed for stable and radioactive elements and 15 N and 13 C stable isotopes.
